Sauti za Busara (February 2019) Stone Town, Zanzibar
Each year in February, Stone Town offers a precious space where diverse people from a divided world join in celebration, united in the universal language of music.
Sauti za Busara 2018 brought together local and international audiences under the theme of ‘United in Music’, celebrating the power of music to promote peace and unity. The festival shone the spotlight on quality, 100% live African music, including traditional sounds as well as young and emerging talents. On three stages over four days, Sauti za Busara showcased diverse and electrifying performances by a wealth of musicaltalents from theAfrican Continent and diaspora.
